Hi there and welcome to Freebie Hunters! One of our favorite pastimes in Second Life is scouting the grid for fantastic hunts, sales, events and gifts from all the wonderful creators. We thought we'd share the wealth and showcase some of our finds in this blog, with an emphasis on the goodies available in various SL events and hunts. We do our best to show ALL items from a hunt/event and in the manner the creator intended, but this is not always possible.

***UPDATE August, 2018- We are still finding freebie/nearly free items to share with you, but due to RL time constraints, a lot of what we find is being posted solely on Flickr. Holiday Steals @ The Wash

December is a hectic month for most of us – a constant stream of deadlines, shopping, social gatherings and not much time to stop and just take a breath. The Happy Holidays cart sale is a chance for you to take a bit of time to yourself, stroll through the lovely winterscape at the Wash and find yourself some terrific holiday deals.

We’ve got over 60 vendors taking part, which means you can find just a little bit of everything you need and possibly a few things you didn’t know you needed until you see them! Most items are 10L or under (there are a few free gifts to be found) and each vendor has a special 50L item set out at their christmas tree display. This is a great opportunity to slow things down a bit and find yourself the perfect little holiday pick-me-up.

The event runs from December 17th to December 31st, so there is plenty of time to pace yourself and explore all the sim has to offer before the holidays are over.
